MICRONEEDLING PENS FOR ANTI-AGEING
Dr. Pen UK microneedling pens provide a non-invasive treatment that gives your skin the glow you’ve been looking for. Micro-needling targets fine lines, wrinkles, texture, stretch marks, acne, loss of tone and elasticity, enlarged pores, acne scarring and pigmentation.
HOW DOES MICRONEEDLING WORK?
As we get older, the cycle of new skin growth slows and less collagen and elastin are produced, resulting in fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots (pigmentation). Serums and creams will moisturise the outer layer of dead skin, but for deeper results, you need penetration to the deeper layers of the skin. This is where microneedling pens succeed.
Dr. Pen UK microneedling pens use tiny, ultra thin needles to create "micro-channels" in the skin for deeper penetration of serums and ingredients results in higher efficacy, meaning you get more out of your serums than usual.
Micro channels trick the skin into thinking that it’s being injured, which triggers the skin’s own natural healing response - an increase in production of collagen and elastin. This restores elasticity, suppleness and a youthful, bouncy ‘glow’ to the skin, as well as healing fine lines, wrinkles, textural irregularities, pigmentation and more.
Microneedling can be used to treat the skin on your face, under-eye area, lips, neck, chest, hands and body (such as the thighs and buttocks, where stretch marks are commonly found).
WHAT IS THE BEST MICRONEEDLING PEN?

HOW LONG AFTER MICRONEEDLING DO YOU SEE RESULTS?
There is no downtime as such after using a microneedling pen, however, the first day or two after your treatment you will experience redness and your skin will flake. 24 hours after a skin needling session, you’ll notice the skin taking on more of a firm, bouncy, glowing appearance.
Approximately 7 days after a micro needling treatment for the skin’s healing response to be fully activated, during this time you’ll see improvements to the area that you’re treating. The full cycle of skin healing takes 4-6 weeks, at which point you may wish to do another micro needling session to see continued improvements.
